Crown 5-3/4" - 5

This embellished 5-3/4" - 5 crown mould measures 5.743" width by .750" thickness, necessitating the use of a six-inch-wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial molder. The ornate profile comprises a 17/32" quarter round bead connected to a 13/32" vertical line on the top left. The straight lines attach to a two tangent radius cyma recta with a 7/16" vertical segment in the center. The remaining portion of the pattern consists of a 15/32" ovolo with a 37/64"flat line on the design's bottom right side. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 3-15/16" tall with a projection of 4-3/16" across the top.
