This distinguished 5-3/4" - 25 crown mould measures 5.723" width by .812" thickness, requiring a six-inch-wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The fancy terminating profile comprises a 9/32" cove with a 1/8" vertical line segment on the top left. That cove connects to a 1/8" by 1/8" perpendicular notch and a graceful three tangent radius cyma recta in the center. The lower section consists of another 9/32" cavetto with a vertical line joined to a 9/32" wide by 25/32" notch for inserting decorative dentil or rope moulding. The bottom right-hand side retains another smaller rabbet with a7/32" cove and a 9/32" horizontal line. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the design parallel to the wall, and ceiling after installation. These specific angles lock in the positioned height at 3-15/16" tall with a 4-5/32" projection across the top.
