Crown 5-1/2" - 48

This large 5-1/2" - 48 crown mould measures 5.525" wide by one-inch thickness; it requires 5-13/16" wide blanks of five-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The attractive terminating profile comprises a one-inch tall vertical fillet joined to two different-sized notches on the top left. The cutouts connect to a 1-5/16" concave semicircle in the center, bound to a 1/4" horizontal fillet and a 55/64" convex quarter round on the lower right corner. The spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific angle positions lock in the installed height at 4" tall with a 3-13/16" projection across the top.
