This elegant 5-1/2" - 42 crown mould measures 5.480" width by .750" thickness, requiring the use of a 5-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The sophisticated terminating profile contains a 29/64" vertical fillet, joined to a fashionable two-tangent radius cyma recta in the top left center. The s-shaped curvature attaches to a 21/64" radius ovolo flanked by a set of perpendicular lines transitioning into a graceful ogee with a 1/4" broad flat line on the lower right corner of the design. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 3-7/8" tall with a projection of 3-7/8" across the top.
