Crown 5-1/2" - 17

This intriguing 5-1/2" - 17 crown mould measures 5.502" width by .813" thickness, requiring the use of a 5-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The beautiful supporting profile contains a 1/4" radius convex arc on the top left. The quarter round connects to a graceful flowing three tangent radius s-shaped curvature in the center. The lower portion of the pattern consists of a 3/16" by 3/16" perpendicular lines, joined to a 9/32" vertical fillet merged with a 17/32" cove with a 1/2" flat line on the design's bottom right side. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 3-25/32" tall with a projection of 4" across the top.
