Crown 5-1/2" - 13

This traditional 5-1/2" - 13 crown mould measures 5.480" width by .812" thickness, requiring the use of a 5-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The long-established terminating profile contains a 19/32" vertical fillet on the top left. The short line connects to a free-flowing two-tangent radius cyma recta in the center. The lower section retains a 1/2" tall vertical line merged with a 3/4" radius cove with a 1/2" broad flat line on the lower right corner of the design. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 3-7/8" tall with a projection of 3-7/8" across the top.
