Crown 5-5/16" - 3

This elegant 5-5/16" - 3 crown mould measure 5.338" width by .937" thickness, permitting the use of a 5-9/16" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial molder. The custom terminating profile contains a 5/16" vertical fillet joined to a 3/16" tall by 5/32" wide perpendicular notch on the top left. The rabbet connects to a free-flowing two tangent radius cyma recta with a 13/32" vertical line in the center. The remaining portion is 3/4" wide by a one-inch tall notch for inserting rope or dentil mould. Attached to a small graceful cyma reversa flanked by a horizontal segment on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 4-3/16" tall with a 3-5/16" projection across the top.
