Crown 4-3/4" - 25

This customary 4-3/4" - 25 crown mould measures 4.765" wide by 1.000" thickness, necessitating the use of five-quarter lumber to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The conventional terminating profile is comprised of a 3/4" vertical line on the top left, connected to a beautiful two tangent radius cyma recta in the center, merged with a one inch wide by 1/2" tall perpendicular lines on the bottom right side of the design. The spring angles are fixed at thirty-nine and fifty-one degrees to obtain two even hold-down points when milling and the desired height and projection in the above image. The installed height becomes 3-1/2" tall with a projection of 3-1/4" wide. These template & knife designs are included in the downloadable dxf file below.
