Crown 4-5/8"

This magnificent 4-5/8" pencil bead crown mould measures 4.625" width by .812" thickness, requiring a 4-7/8" blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The ornamental terminating profile retains a 25/64" pencil-shaped bead boarded by tiny vertical segments on the top left. The lower line connects to a one-inch concave semicircle tangent off a 1-13/16" convex arc forming the graceful cyma recta in the center. The s-shaped curvature joins a 3/32" tall fillet attached to a beautiful ogee derived from two tangent semicircles on the design's bottom right corner. The spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific angle positions lock in the installed height at 3-3/8" tall with a 3-3/8" projection across the top.
