Crown 4-1/2" - 10

This cyma recta 4-1/2" - 10 crown mould measures 4.500" wide by .750" thickness. The profile is composed of a just under 1/2" tall vertical fillet on the top, an elegant free-flowing S curve or cyma recta in the middle and a squared stepped fillet at the bottom portion of the design. When this profile is installed the height becomes 3-1/2" tall with a projection of 2-27/32" wide, the spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees. The crown points are purposely set on the same level plane to eliminate any chatter during production. The bead of the S curve is recessed below the points by .020" to eliminate any possibility of a burnish mark left on the wood from the pressure element of the moulder; this practice will also reduce the time frame in the finishing process.
