Crown 4-3/8" - 15

This distinguished 4-3/8" - 15 crown mould measures 4.357" width by .937" thickness, necessitating the pattern to utilize five-quarter lumber for machining sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial molder. The gorgeous terminating profile contains a 5/16" tall vertical fillet on the top left. The line segment connects to a two-tangent radius s-shaped curvature (cyma recta) in the middle. The Greek Echinus-shaped center merges with a 17/64" vertical line joined to a miniature 3/32" radius congee. The cove attaches to a 3/4" tall half-circle with a 13/32" cove flanked by a tiny vertical and horizontal line segment on the design's bottom right side. The set spring angles are at twenty-six & sixty-four degrees; these are included in the downloadable Dxf file below. When installed, these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling; they also lock in the positioned height at 3-3/4" tall with a projection of 2-1/4" across the top.
