Crown 4-9/32" - 8

This traditional 4-9/32" - 8 crown mould measures 4.276" width by .812" thickness, requiring a 4-1/2" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The terminating colonial profile comprises a 13/32" vertical line segment on the top left. The short line connects to a 43/64" concave semicircle tangent to a 1-1/16" convex arc forming the cyma recta in the center. The s-shaped curvature attaches to a 9/32" vertical fillet merged with a 35/64" cove with a 5/16" flat line on the design's bottom right side. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 3-3/8" tall with a 2-5/8" projection across the top.
