Crown 4-1/4" - 3

This traditional 4-1/4" - 3 crown mould is a well-established terminating profile; it contains a 27/64" vertical fillet on the top left. It's attached to a 27/32" radius concave semicircle tangent off a 31/32" convex arc creating the beautiful cyma recta in the center. The s-shaped curvature merges with a 13/32" vertical segment and a 1/2" cove with a 25/64" flat line on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles are at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, in addition to locking in the height at 3-5/16" tall with a 2-21/32" projection across the top. The pattern measures 4.250" in width by .750" in thickness. The recommended rough wood rip-size milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) using four-quarter lumber is 4-1/2" wide.
