Crown 4-1/4" - 27

This old-world 4-1/4" - 27 crown mould measures 4.244" width by .750" thickness, allowing the pattern to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber on an industrial moulder. The supporting colonial profile contains a 5/8" radius quarter round bead joined to a 1/4" vertical fillet on the top left. This area joins to a 1-1/32" concave semicircle tangent off of a 1-7/32" convex arc creating the fashionable cyma recta in the center. Merged with another 1/4" vertical line segment that attaches to a 5/8" cove with a 17/64" broad line on the bottom right side of the design. The set spring angles are at forty-five degrees; these dedicated back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, they also lock in the positioned height at 2-15/16" tall with a projection of 3-1/16" across the top.
