The spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific back angle positions lock the installed height at 2-3/4" tall with a 2-3/4" projection across the top. The pattern measures 3.889" in width by .750" in thickness. The recommended rough wood rip-size milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) using four-quarter lumber is 4-1/16" wide.
