This luxurious 3-7/8" - 17 crown mould measures 3.889" width by 1.000" thickness, requiring a 4-1/8" blank of five-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The sophisticated terminating profile retains a 5/8" vertical line with a 13/64" quarter-round on the top left. The rounded inner edge connects a 15/64" convex arc tangent to a large 1-1/16" cove in the center. The lower section retains a 1/8" horizontal fillet connected to a two-tangent radius ogee with a 1/4" flat line on the design's bottom right corner. The spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling.
