Crown 3-7/8" - 15

This 3-7/8" - 15 traditional crown mould measures 3.889" width by .750" thickness, permitting a 4-1/8" blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The established terminating profile comprises a 1/2" vertical line on the top left. The segment connects to a 3/4" concave semicircle tangent off of a 1-1/32" convex arc, creating the lovely cyma recta in the middle. The curvature connects to a 1/4" tall fillet joined to a 27/32" cove with a 19/64" broad segment on the design's bottom right. The spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific angle positions lock in the height at 2-3/4" tall with a 2-3/4" projection across the top.
