This fashionable 3-7/8" - 1 crown mould measures 3.886" width by .750" thickness, requiring a 4-1/8" blank of five-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The colonial-themed terminating profile retains a 19/32" vertical line on the top left. The straight line connects to a 27/32" concave semicircle tangent to a 31/32" convex arc, creating the lovely cyma recta with a 5/16" tall line in the center. The lower portion consists of a 9/32" tall by 7/32" wide perpendicular notch joined to a 17/32" cove with an11/32" horizontal line on the design's bottom right corner. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; in addition, they lock in the positioned height at 3-1/8" tall with a 2-5/16" projection across the top.
