Crown 3-11/16" - 5

This 3-11/16" - 5 concave crown mould measures 3.688" width by .812" thickness, allowing the use of a 3-15/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial molder. The scooped-out terminating profile contains a 3/8" tall vertical line in the upper left. The line connects to a two tangent radius elliptical-shaped cove in the center. The lower portion consists of a 3/8" radius ovolo flanked by 1/8" vertical and horizontal line segments and a 1/4" horizontal line on the bottom right side of the design. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed; they also lock in the positioned height at 2-7/8" tall with a 2-5/16" projection across the top.
