Crown 3-1/2" - 3

This fancy 3-1/2" - 3 crown mould measures 3.500" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled sprung (laying horizontally flat) from four-quarter lumber. The beautiful terminating profile is comprised of a 1/4" tall vertical line on top, connected to a two tangent radius cyma recta in the center. The lower portion is derived from 5/32" wide by 1/4" tall perpendicular lines that connect to a two-tangent radius cyma reversa with a 1/4" flat line at the bottom of the design. We offer a similar version of this pattern in the same width but with different spring angles for your review and consideration, crown 3.500" - 12.

The spring angles are at forty-five degrees; the dedicated back bevels keep the face sides of the pattern parallel to the wall and ceiling. These specific back angle positions lock the installed height at 2-1/2" tall with a 2-1/2" projection across the top. The pattern measures 3.500" in width by .750" in thickness. The recommended rough wood rip-size milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) using four-quarter lumber is 3-3/4" wide.
