Crown 3-1/8" - 2

This fancy 3-1/8" - 2 crown mould measures 3.125" width by .750" thickness, demanding a 3-3/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on a commercial moulder. The elegant terminating pattern contains three different-sized sets of perpendicular notches on the upper left. The lower cut-out connects to a graceful two-tangent radius cyma recta in the center. The s-shaped curvature joins a 1/8" vertical fillet merged with a 5/32" congee with an 11/64" broad flat line on the design's bottom right corner. The fixed spring angles are set at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, in addition to locking in the height at 1-7/8" tall with a 2-1/2" projection across the top.
