Crown 2-5/8"

This 2-5/8 colonial crown mould measures 2.625" width by .625" thickness, enabling the pattern to be machined sprung (laying horizontally flat) using four-quarter lumber on a commercial-grade molder. The standard terminating profile contains a 31/64" tall vertical line on the top left, attached to a smooth-flowing two-tangent radius cyma recta with a 3/16" vertical fillet joined to a 7/32" cove with a 13/64" broad line segment on the bottom left side of the design. The fixed spring angles are at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the exposed face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, as well as set the oriented height at 2-5/32" tall with a projection of 1-1/2" across the top.
