WM 93 Cove 3/4" - 2

This 3/4" - 2 WM 93 cove mould measures 1.656" width by .750" thickness, enabling a 1-15/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The traditional profile contains two 3/4" coves separated by a 5/32" splitter, doubling production in half the time. The detail consists of a 5/8" radius concave semicircle flanked by a 3/16" wide fillet on the top and a 3/16" tall vertical line on the inside edge. You may want to review and consider machining this detail in a single run application, cove .750", This pattern will allow the use of many fall-off rips of lumber.

Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations. For safety concerns, we strongly suggest an anti-kickback device for your machinery before attempting milling procedures involving splitting lumber into multiple pieces.
