Cove 5/8" - 6

This asymmetrical 5/8" - 6 cove mould measures .625" wide by .500" thickness. The shallow profile is comprised of a 9/64" broad line on top, connected to a five eights radius cove joined to a three-sixteenths inch vertical line at the bottom of the pattern. This profile is designed for milling two pieces of lumber simultaneously, saving production time while utilizing fall-off rips of lumber from your straight-line saw.

Caution: the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations. For safety concerns, we strongly suggest installing an anti-kickback device on the machinery before attempting any milling procedures involving splitting lumber into multiple pieces.
