Cove 5/8" - 5

When installed, this petite 5/8" - 5 cove mould measures .625" wide by .625" thickness. The milling dimension is 1.406" wide. We suggest the rough lumber blank be 1.687" wide. The profile comprises a 1/4" broad segment at the top, connected to a 3/8" radius cove with a 1/4" tall vertical line at the bottom. This unique split two-cove knife design utilizes fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time.

Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
