Cove 1/4" - 1

This small 1/4" - 1 cove mould measures .250" wide by .250" thickness. The profile comprises a 1/8" radius cove flanked by a 1/8" broad horizontal line on top and a 1/8" tall vertical line on the side edge of the design. The cutter is capable of milling two pieces simultaneously, creating an excellent way to utilize fall of rips of lumber in the shop; the wood size is ripped to roughly 7/8" wide by 3/4" or less in thickness.

For safety purposes, we strongly recommend installing an anti-kickback device on the machine before attempting this splitting operation. Caution: When milling this detail, the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
