Cove 1/4"

This 1/4" small cove mould measures .250" wide by .250" thickness. The profile comprises a 5/32" radius cove flanked by a 3/32" wide fillet on top and a 3/32" tall vertical line on the side edge of the detail. The cutter is capable of milling two pieces simultaneously; this is an excellent way to utilize fall of rips of lumber in the shop; the wood size gets ripped to roughly 7/8" wide by 3/4" or less in thickness.

For safety purposes, we strongly recommend installing an anti-kickback device on the machine before attempting this splitting operation. Caution: When milling this detail, the cutters will come within .010" of the machine bed plates. We recommend using a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
