Cove Moulding 3-29/32" - 4

This lovely cove moulding 3-29/32" - 4 measures 3.911" wide by 1.187" thickness, requiring a 4-3/16" wide blank of six-quarter lumber for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial moulder. The a-symmetrical terminating profile comprises a 1-15/16" radius cavetto tangent off a vertical line segment in the middle. The center attaches to a 7/16" vertical line on the upper left with a 33/64" wide horizontal fillet in the lower right corner. The fixed spring angles are thirty-six and fifty-four degrees; the back-cuts are in the downloadable DXF file below. These specific angle positions lock in the installed height at 3-1/16" tall with a 2-7/16" projection across the top.
