Cove 3-1/4" - 5

This custom 3-1/4" - 5 cove mould measures 3.250" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four-quarter lumber. The symmetrical profile comprises a 2-9/32" radius cavetto in the center, connected to a 15/32" tall vertical line on the top and a 15/32" wide horizontal line segment at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these specific back bevels set the installed height at 2-19/64" tall with a projection of 2-19/64" wide.

In most of our crown, cove, and bed mould designs, we utilize a full 2.375"/60mm cutter head for the back bevel angles to allow for multiple axial adjustments on a wide range of patterns.
