Cove 1-1/4" - 1

This 1-1/4" - 1 cove mould measures 1.250" thickness, necessitating six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder/shaper. The width is milled to any desired size within the parameters of the machinery. The profile comprises a 5/16" tall vertical line at the bottom that joins to a 15/16" radius cove. The detail is designed for milling on the left vertical cutter head but could just as easily get milled from the right side; keep in mind if machined from the right side cutter head, you will be removing the wood that the feed rollers need to grab onto after that milling station, it may affect your feed system on the molder. If you want to mill this detail symmetrically, it will have to get machined from the top horizontal cutter head, but the width would be limited; please review and consider this detail instead, cove 1.250".
