Cornice 2-3/8" - 1

This great 2-3/8" - 1 cornice build-up measures 2.375" wide by 1.250" thickness, enabling a 2-5/8" wide blank of six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The opulent profile contains a 3/4" wide by 1/4" deep rabbet for a panel on the top left. The notch connects to a 1/4" flat line joined to a 1/4" cove with a 1/8" vertical step in the center. The short line merges with a graceful two tangent radius s-shaped curvature, leaving a 1/4" thickness dimension on the design's right side.

Our professionally designed acrylic templates and knives include the required draft angles to maintain the ability to sharpen the blades properly without modifying the detail. It will also prolong the milling time between sharpening.
