This broad 6" - 21 chair rail measures 6.000" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled from four-quarter lumber. The balanced profile is composed of a 5-1/8" broad segment in the center, flanked by a 1/16" wide by 3/16" deep sunk fillet that joins to a recessed (.020" for sanding) 3/8" wide half circle on each side edge of the pattern.
