This modern 4" - 29 vee-notch chair rail measures 4.000" wide by .750" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The attractive profile is composed of a recessed 3-29/32" semicircular arc in the center. It's flanked on each side by an up-sloping beveled section merged with a 3/8" broad segment. Connected to a small v-shaped notch with another 3/8" wide fillet. The side edges were intentionally left sharp; any of our
radius edges get used to make this pattern infinitely custom.
