This custom 3-3/4" - 17 chair rail measures 3.750" wide by .843" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled from four-quarter lumber. The elegant profile is composed of a two tangent radius thumbnail-shaped arc flanked by small line segments on the left side, connected to a 21/64" wide congee made from a 5/32" cove joined to a 5/64" vertical step, attached to an up-sloping two tangent radius french curve with an 11/64" broad segment and another 5/32" congee on the right side of the pattern.
