Chair Rail 2-1/2" - 8

This 2-1/2" - 8 belly-band chair rail pattern measures 2.500" width by .687" thickness. The elegant symmetrical profile composes a 1-7/16" wide semicircular convex arc in the center. Flanked by a 3/16" wide by 1/16" deep perpendicular step joined to a 1/4" quarter-round bead on both side edges of the design. The recommended rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 2-3/4" wide.

Caution: the knives will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when cutting this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
