Door/Window Casing 5" - 17

This fashionable 5" - 17 door/window casing measures 5.000" wide by 1.000" thickness, enabling the detail to be cut from five-quarter lumber. The beautiful profile is composed of a 2-1/32" broad flat line segment with a 1/16" rounded inner edge on the top left. The outer edge was intentionally left square for using one of our many backband profiles; here is just one of many you may want to review and consider, backband 1.000" - 8. The middle of the design consists of an elevation changing two tangent radius ogee with a 1/16" rounded edge merged with a 1-7/8" flat section, connected to a 5/64" wide by 13/64" deep sunk fillet with a 29/64" wide half round bead on the right side of the pattern.
