This grandiose 4-1/2" - 55 door/window casing measures 4.500" width by 1.500" thickness, necessitating a 4-3/4" wide blank of eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial moulder. The graceful profile comprises a 5/32" horizontal line segment with a 3/64" eased edge at a one-inch thickness dimension on the top left. The short line connects to a deep downsloping two-tangent radius s-shaped curvature in the center. It joins another short segment and a smaller version of the curvature with a 3/8" wide fillet on the design's right side.
