This double cove 4-1/2" - 47 door/window casing measures 4.500" wide by 1.187" thickness, enabling the detail to be milled out of six-quarter lumber. The concave profile is composed of a 1-3/8" broad straight line with a 1/8" rounded outer edge on the top left. It's connected to a 3/4" wide cong'e made from a 9/16" cove with a 1/8" vertical step in the center. It merges with a 1-15/16" flat segment and a 9/16" cove with a 3/64" eased edge, leaving a 1/4" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
