Door/Window Casing 3-1/2" - 62

This stepped 3-1/2" - 62 door/window casing measures 3.500" wide by one-inch thickness, requiring the pattern to get milled from five-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The tiered profile composes a one-inch wide by 1/4" tall raised fillet with two 3/16" eased edges on the left, connected to a 1-1/2" broad line segment with a 1/4" rounded edge in the center and attached to a 3/4" wide by 3/16" deep step and a 1/4" radius transitioning into a 3/16" quarter round arc on the right side of the pattern. The profile gets oriented in the machine with the taller portion placed against the right inside the fixed fence; this enables the hold-down shoe to be moved outward laterally and placed on the design's 1-1/2" vast flat portion.
