Door/Window Casing 3-3/8" - 13

This beveled 3-3/8" - 13 door/window casing measures 3.375" wide by .625" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined from four-quarter lumber. The canted profile is composed of two 1/8" radius edges that are tangent to a 5.72-degree angled line that connects both of them, leaving a 5/16" thickness dimension on the right side of the pattern. The profile is oriented in the machinery to mill the thicker side of the profile up against the inside fixed fence. This detail will require a reverse profile pressure shoe to hold the moulding flat on the bed plates during milling. The reverse profile pressure shoe will aid in pushing the moulding against the fence while eliminating chatter on the face of the detail.
