This colonial 2-7/8" - 6 door/window casing measures 2.875" width by 1.062" thickness, requiring a 3-1/8" wide blank of five-quarter lumber for machining on an industrial moulder. The traditional profile contains a 13/16" broad flat line with a 1/8" eased outer edge on the top left. The horizontal line joins a 15/64" deep by 1/16" wide sunk fillet to a graceful two-tangent radius s-shaped curvature in the center. The remaining portion of the pattern consists of a 7/32" radius half-circle and a tiny ogee on the design's right side.
