45 Degree Lock Miter Joint - 3

This decorative lock miter joint 45 degree - 3 measures .750” thickness, enabling the detail to be machined out of four quarter lumber, the width can be machined to any desired size within the parameters of the shaper used to cut the pattern. The unique profile is composed of two 9/32” wide by 19/64” tall interlocking tongue & grooves with .007” void in the joint area for glue to escape from during fabrication. The pattern is designed to be machined on a shaper with one board laying horizontally flat and the other piece standing up, or, it could be milled laying flat on a moulder bed plate during the machining process.
