32 Degree Back Bevel Cutter

This 32 degree back angle cutter is designed to cut a thirty-two-degree undercut on the right vertical cutter head on an industrial moulder while milling a piece of crown, cove or bed mould. These knives create only half the determining factor of the final height and projection of any of the above mentioned profiles when installed, the other half of the equation is generally a degree that combined equals ninety. On this back cut layout in the image above, the maximum depth of cut is .500", and the maximum height of cut is set at .800". Every crown, cove, or bed pattern we design has height numbers near the degree of angle on the layout paperwork we supply. That number must be smaller than the height number above, in this example, .800", for this knife to be able to cut the entire height of the slope while milling; if not, please select a larger size height angle of the same degree. We intentionally design all our crown, cove, and bed moldings with forty-five-degree bevels and under to be milled on the right vertical cutter head and all forty-five-degree and higher-back angles on the left vertical cutter head.
