Bed Mould 2-7/8" - 1

This beautifying bed mould 2-7/8" - 1 measure 2.875" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled sprung (laying horizontally flat) out of four quarter lumber. The decorative supporting profile comprises a 29/32" radius convex semicircular arc on the top left, connected to a 9/32" tall vertical line segment in the center, joined to a 5/8" cove with an 11/32" wide horizontal line on the bottom right. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five degrees, these clear back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, they also lock in the positioned height at 2-13/32" tall with a projection of 1-21/32" wide.

Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
