Bed Mould 1-3/4" - 8

This common bed mould 1-3/4" - 8 measures 1.750" wide by .500" thickness. The profile consists of the three basic geometrical shapes all bed moulds retain, including a .488" radius quarter round bead on top attached to a 7/32" tall vertical fillet in the center connected to a 7/16" radius cavetto with a 5/16" wide horizontal fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The fixed spring angles are at thirty-eight and fifty-two degrees; these particular back bevels keep the face side of the profile parallel to the wall and ceiling when installed, in addition to locking in the height at 1-23/64" tall with a 1.125" projection across the top. The pattern measures 1.750" in width by .500" in thickness. The recommended rough wood rip-size milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) using four-quarter lumber is 2" wide.
