Bed Mould 1-1/4"

This small 1-1/4" supporting bed mould measures 1.250" wide by .500" thick. The common profile is comprised of a 3/8" radius quarter circle at the top, connected to an 11/64" tall vertical fillet in the middle, attached to a 1/4" radius cove with a 9/64" wide horizontal fillet at the bottom of the pattern. The spring angles are fixed at forty-five-degrees, these specific bevels set the installed height at 1" tall, with a projection of 49/64" wide. Two high points in the design were intentionally positioned on the same level plane. This specialized design feature will provide excellent hold-down conditions while milling the pattern on an industrial moulder.

In most of our crown, cove, and bed mould designs, we utilize a full 2.375"/60mm cutter head for the back bevel angles to allow for multiple axial adjustments on a wide range of patterns.
