This beveled edge 8-1/4" - 6 base moulding measures 8.250" wide by .750" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The chamfered top profile is used in many churches around the western parts of the United States. The piece comprises a seven-inch wide flat area with a 1/8" vertical drop in elevation in the center. It joins an 11.31-degree downsloping angled line with a 3/64" eased edge leaving a 3/8" thickness dimension on the right side of the pattern.
