This traditional 8" - 24 base moulding measures 8.000" wide by .750" thickness, requiring an 8-1/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The customary profile contains a 5-17/64" broad flat line segment on the top left center. The line connects to a 9/32" cove merged with a 3/32" wide by 3/32" deep sunken fillet joined to a graceful two tangent radius s-shaped curvature. The wavy portion connects to a small half-round flanked by tiny fillets with a 9/32" cove on the design's right side.
