This universal 7-1/2" - 8 base moulding measures 7.500" width by .750" thickness, necessitating a 7-3/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The attractive profile contains a 5-5/8" broad line segment with an 11/64" rolled edge on the top center. The small semicircle connects to another 11/64" convex arc tangent to a 1-11/16" concave arc connected to an 11/32" wide flat line, leaving a 3/8" thickness on the design's right side. This profile is a perfect candidate for using one of our many
panel mould and
base shoes.
