Baseboard 6-5/8"
This lovely 6-5/8" base moulding measures 6.625" wide by .750" thick. The profile dimension is just over 1-13/32" wide, and it consists of a stepped fillet with a 3/32" radius on top that transitions onto a 1-3/32" wide radius edge fillet with a small cavetto attached. We created two layout designs for this profile. One is intended for a five-spindle moulder with a single top cutterhead. The other pattern is for a machine that has two top cutterheads. The first top mills to the finish thickness dimension, and the second top will machine just the profiles. This design practice will save you substantial time and money on knife steel and labor.
